Tali's Tails
Greetings, humans!
Howl-o-ween is nearly upon us!
In the spirit of the scary season, I want to talk to you about something **I** find scary – DOGS! (I mean, I am a cat, after all.)
Many of you have been asking my Mom –
“Dr. Vicky – why would my dog need a chiropractor?”
Some of you have even asked that while doing that confused head tilt thing your dogs do.
Never fear! I’m here with
The Top 5 Ways Chiropractic can Help YOUR Dog
You already know how much chiropractic care has benefited YOU in ALL areas of your life:
To quote the Wicked Witch – “Chiropractic can help you, my pretties! AND your little dogs, too!” (That’s how that went, right?)
Your dogs big and small can ALSO greatly benefit from chiropractic care, the same as you have!
The Top 5 Ways Chiropractic can Help YOUR Dog
1 - A happier, highest quality life – less pain & less stiffness mean more tail wags and more head-out-the-window car rides, more hopping into your lap for love, and could even add more months or years to their lives
2 - More play time – which helps improve physical fitness, optimize weight, improve internal health, and even improve mental health through stress relief
3 - More bonding – when your pups are out of pain, they will want more snuggles & pettings from you, and will be more patient with small kiddos as well, improving the entire family dynamic
4 - Enhanced effectiveness of medications – chiropractic care helps the entire body work at its absolute best – muscles, joints, and nervous system. If your vet has put your dog on medications, those meds could start getting utilized more efficiently when your dog has chiropractic care too. This could lead to your vet lowering the dose of that medication (And this is why my mom, Dr. Vicky, will stay in close contact with your vet, so that everyone is on the same page in giving your dog exactly the care he needs)
5 - Increased speed, agility, and coordination – especially important for working dogs like herders or service dogs, and for athletes looking to improve their scores in competitions. And your house-pets could get WAY better at fetch!
